There are very few climbs in modern bike racing that can bring a pro racer to his knees. With the evolution of intelligent gearing, the steepest climbs have been tamed. However, defying all technological advances, the Koppenberg takes us back to a time when plodding upward on foot was just as common a means of forward movement as pedaling. It’s steep, cobbled and mythical in nature. A magnificent setting for many of the photos used in our catalogs. We’ve always felt a tie to Belgium, cycling’s other heartland. Shaken, bruised, even bleeding, they pushed on. Here is a look back on an incredible week at some of the most beautiful races in the world.

Great ride by Dylan Van Baarle who rode to sixth place at Ronde van Vlaanderen on Sunday. Following a classics season marred by illness and injury, this result was a much needed boost for ‎Green Argyle. “This sixth place meant a lot for me but also for the team. Last weekend was not how we wanted. Everyone was not fit and so many were sick. After the weekend, we were pretty depressed. But with this result, we can be very happy. It’s not my result alone. Without all the hard work of everyone, I couldn’t reach it.” – Dylan van Baarle following his gutsy ride for sixth place at Ronde van Vlaanderen on Sunday We hope to see Dylan representing the Argyle Nation at Paris Roubaix this upcoming weekend.
