TdF 2018 – Powerful teamwork to seal G’s maillot jaune
The past three weeks haven proven in an impressive way that the most important bike race can only be won if everyone is moving in the same direction. As an individual person one might be able to shine for a day or two but going through thick and thin requires full dedication of every single team member. Geraint Thomas‘ has not only won the 6th Tour for Team Sky but also celebrated two stage victories including the prestigious arrival at Alpe d’Huez. Chris Froome and Team Sky completes historical Tour – Vuelta double
In winning, Team Sky captain Chris Froome becomes the first rider who won the Vuelta-Tour double since 1978, and only the third ever after Jacques Anquetil (1963) and Bernard Hinault (1978) to win the French and Spanish Grand Tours in the same year.
