We first saw this back in 2009 when our Cervélo TestTeam rider Jeremy Hunt rode the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad in knee warmers that he had cut to knee length. It took six years for it to catch on, but we saw half a dozen or so riders starting the 2015 Omloop with that same look. So we engineered a fabric that lets us leave a soft raw edge at the back of the knee that won’t cut into you, and we started riding prototypes. Once again the guys who do this for a living have come up with a new way to dress. It’s significantly warmer than a thermal short but doesn’t feel overdressed like a knicker. At the Belgian classics we’ve seen the pros cutting off their knee warmers to have a thermal layer just to the knee. So we made up some shorts to ride in and quickly realized that the pros are onto something. It feels significantly warmer than a thermal short but without the restriction of 3/4 knickers. We developed a soft raw-cut edge so it’s not going to cut into the back of your knee. Plus it looks very pro. Long socks required.

Great ride by Dylan Van Baarle who rode to sixth place at Ronde van Vlaanderen on Sunday. Following a classics season marred by illness and injury, this result was a much needed boost for ‎Green Argyle. “This sixth place meant a lot for me but also for the team. Last weekend was not how we wanted. Everyone was not fit and so many were sick. After the weekend, we were pretty depressed. But with this result, we can be very happy. It’s not my result alone. Without all the hard work of everyone, I couldn’t reach it.” – Dylan van Baarle following his gutsy ride for sixth place at Ronde van Vlaanderen on Sunday We hope to see Dylan representing the Argyle Nation at Paris Roubaix this upcoming weekend. From my memories of small to see on tv the classics of spring have had the need to discover for myself the rider feeling that people in Northern Europe and more specifically in Belgium have for him.In the year 2012 was my first participation in the Tour of Flanders where enjoy a lot, always leaving the door open to repeat the huge experience of power stepping on the asphalt, pave and twist me climbing the walls that so much history have and they will continue to have, since it is a land with a huge passion for cycling. This year has been another opportunity to participate in “The Ronde” with my group of friends who are extremely devout by tests classical background which have a huge story behind. After many preparations and some hiccup I’m taking the exit in Markt square in the heart of Brugges. All ready and prepared with an enormous illusion and 245 km ahead. The morning is fresh about 6 degrees approximately, although I go with short shorts, Jersey climbers, Prosecco Ice vest Fawesome undershirt and muff Nano Flex weather forecasts are good, clear skies. The long Cyclo 245km (Bruges-Oudenaarde 245 km) could be divided into ...
