Former TdF podium finisher gives feedback on Body Paint!

The Body Paint bibshorts are partially the result of three years of development, some futuristic thinking and feedback from elite riders. There’s no denying this is a high-end performance piece. Not only riders from the Cervélo TestTeam have been testing Body Paint, also other ProTour riders wanted to take part in the testing process, including an anonym former Tour de France podium finisher: “I rode them today, wow- they are nice! I understand why they are called Bodypaint. I could feel the compression aspect.  They were about an inch and a half above my regular tan line. But the fabric and the cut are amazing! Thanks Castelli!” Body Paint Bibshort is a warm weather garment with a very low cut front and a nice airy mesh in back between the straps. The Body Paint bibshort is designed to synchronize with your body’s movement on the bike. It is anatomically tailored and made out of only four pieces of material: – The short portion is made with a single piece of engineered Power Stretch Lycra® fabric with integrated Giro++ leg grippers designed not to constrict blood flow. – Straps made in seamless Giro++ elastic fabric. – Light mesh fabric on back for breathability. – Progetto X2 seat pad. The combination of a single piece of fabric to eliminate seams and cover the bottom of the riders body as if it was painted on, will help harness the riders muscle’s output potential and facilitate blood flow in the capillaries, getting oxygen to the muscles.
