CASTELLI OFFICIAL PARTNER OF THE UAE TOUR 2020, THE ONE AND ONLY WORLD TOUR RACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST The new UCI WorldTour race will start in Dubai and end in Abu Dhabi, with a route that runs through the Emirates. Four stages dedicated to sprinters, one for puncheurs and two for climbers. The only WorldTour race in the Middle East, organized by the Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah Sports Councils, in partnership with RCS Sport, is scheduled from 23rd to 29th February 2020. Chris Froome will be the big star of the event for sure, he will return to racing at the UAE Tour as he continues his recovery from career-threatening injuries. Froome broke multiple bones, including his right femur, a hip and ribs, when he crashed into a wall at high speed during a recon ride at the Critérium du Dauphiné last June. With 2020’s modified route for the UAE Tour there are seven stages listed below: Stage 1 – DUBAI SILICON OASIS STAGE – The Pointe – Dubai Silicon Oasis (148km) A mainly desert stage with some sections in the city of Dubai. The biggest women’s race in North America wrapped up in Denver this last week, and the Point S pro women were there to experience this important step forward for women’s cycling. We had the opportunity to sit down with Isabella Bertold and Pip Sutton, who just returned from their four days of racing at the event, and here’s what they had to say.     Q: What excited you most about racing Colorado this year? Isabella: For the first time in my bike racing career we were the main attraction! This was a big step for women’s cycling and I was excited to be a part of it. The race attracted a top tier field of riders, and it was the hardest race I’ve ever done.
