Italian brand becomes official partner and sponsor of Italian National Cycling Federation for 2014 UCI Road World Championships in Spain. Castelli has signed an exclusive partnership agreement with the Italian National Cycling Federation for the 2014 UCI Road World Championships, which will be held in the historic city of Ponferrada in northwest Spain from September 21 to 28. The sponsorship is further evidence of the Italian brand’s dedication to making clothing that provides a competitive advantage. Castelli has been the technical sponsor of the Italian National Cycling Federation since 2010. Italian national team selection ahead of training camp

The biggest names of the present Italian cycling, in the likes of Vincenzo Nibali, Filippo Pozzato or Ivan Basso were called, as Cassani announced the full list of riders expected to take part in the training camp, during the press conference held in Rome. Davide Cassani has quickly found himself in the new role of the Italian national team coach, after Paolo Bettini left the position to become a part of the new Fernando Alonso Cycling Team, and appointed 29 riders to participate in the first training camp to be held in Camaiore between 26 February and 1 March.
