The biggest women’s race in North America wrapped up in Denver this last week, and the Point S pro women were there to experience this important step forward for women’s cycling. We had the opportunity to sit down with Isabella Bertold and Pip Sutton, who just returned from their four days of racing at the event, and here’s what they had to say.     Q: What excited you most about racing Colorado this year? Isabella: For the first time in my bike racing career we were the main attraction! This was a big step for women’s cycling and I was excited to be a part of it. The race attracted a top tier field of riders, and it was the hardest race I’ve ever done. Pip: I was excited to race with some of the world’s best female racers, and supporting my team and helping our team members achieve the best possible results was something I was super happy to be a part of.     Q: What does the Point S hashtag #HRDWMN mean to you? Isabella: I LOVE this hashtag – it could not be more accurate! There is nothing easy about this sport. The cliché saying that it ...

Living less than two hours from our headquarters, Gianni Moscon is a familiar face in the office and in the local cycling community in the Veneto and Trentino regions. In our work with the pros, we often have the opportunity to meet some amazing people who share our passion. Sometimes the person behind the sunglasses is different than you might expect. The 24-year-old Team Sky rider from Val di Non weathered a big storm when he was ejected from the Tour de France last year and suspended for five weeks after being seen taking a swing at Fortuneo-Samsic’s Elie Gesbert during stage 15. We’re not ignoring what people think, but we want to provide more insight into the real Gianni Moscon in this article and video.   MEET THE MAN BEHIND THE SUNGLASSES On a cold November day, we sat down with Moscon at the family farm in Livo, Trentino, for a chat about his rapid rise in the pro ranks, Team Sky, his passion for cycling, his first pedal strokes and growing up as an apple farmer.   The hugely gifted 24-year-old is considered one of the biggest talents in the sport. He finished fifth in his second attempt ...

There are many reasons why so many pro riders are based on the Côte d’Azur. It’s fabulously beautiful, with a warm climate, but it also offers world-class climbing within a very short distance from the crowded coast and Monaco. The pros can often be found on the famous cols, such as Col de la Madone, Col de Vence, and Col d’Eze. After meeting up with the riders ahead of the 2018 edition of Milan–San Remo for product feedback and interviews, we follow along in the team car to the finish line in San Remo, and then all the way to their team house along the Moyenne Corniche on the Côte d’Azur. Sneak Peek, behind the scenes with Team Sky. You can find the rider interviews at the end of the blog post. The team house is located on one of the main roads that tumble down the slope into the principality of Monaco. The house is near the town of Beausoleil, on the French side of the border. There are predictably jaw-dropping views from the terrace. The many villas, the enormous Odeon skyscraper, and the Mediterranean sea dotted with white boats here and there take away your breath. The morning ...

As we head into the biggest race week of the year, we wanted to share some insights that Mirinda Carfrae and Timothy O’Donnell have gained over many years of training and racing, some humbling, some downright hilarious. We spent a day with them in Boulder at the end of August, and followed them during dawn laps in the pool, to the gym, out on the bike, and finally back home. We sat down with them for a Q&A session where we were able to hear their thoughts on past mistakes, musical guilty pleasures, and what it has been like to be a part of the triathlon world over the years.
