Van Lierde and Lester dominate Ironman France
Past weekend’s IRONMAN France (Nice) was a total triumph for Castelli athletes, who took the women’s and men’s titles at Côte d’Azur. Carrie Lester (AUS) – who was opting for a Free Speed W Race Jersey to ensure good aerodynamics on the bike and additional sun protection paired with Free W Tri Shorts – crossed the line first in 9:27:53, 10:38 ahead of runner-up Annabel Luxford. Belgian Frederik Van Lierde – a frequent competitor in France – managed to seal his 4th victory at Promenade des Anglais this year.
