Kona will be the first showing of the all new PR SPEED SUIT. This suit is the most recent result of a collaboration with the Norwegian Technical University (NTNU) in Trondheim. Cameron Wurf will be wearing the new NTNU developed PR SPEED SUIT in a race for the very first time. It’s not a “pro only” development and the exact same suit will be available to the public in spring 2019. Discover the entire Castelli triathlon collection in the meantime.

As we head into the biggest race week of the year, we wanted to share some insights that Mirinda Carfrae and Timothy O’Donnell have gained over many years of training and racing, some humbling, some downright hilarious. We spent a day with them in Boulder at the end of August, and followed them during dawn laps in the pool, to the gym, out on the bike, and finally back home. We sat down with them for a Q&A session where we were able to hear their thoughts on past mistakes, musical guilty pleasures, and what it has been like to be a part of the triathlon world over the years.

Just one week after his 4th place at IM 70.3 Santa Rosa the Boulder-based athlete was again at the start in Poland. Tim managed a very good start and celebrated a start-to-finish victory this past Sunday ahead of the two Germans Nils Frommhold and Markus Liebelt. “I was excited to race. I took the lead in the swim, maintained my position on the bike and capped it off with the day’s fastest run.” Tim and Markus relied on the no-compromise race suit All Out Speed Suit. TOP 3 men: 1. Timothy O’Donnell (USA) 3:47:40 (new course record) 2. Nils Frommhold (GER) 3:52:57 3. Markus Liebelt (GER) 3:53:27 Enjoy a race gallery from Poland. The 20th edition of Ironman Austria (Klagenfurt) was held in perfect long distance weather, not too hot and a light breeze. Starting the race it was clear that Pewag Racing Team athletes were willing to take an offensive approach. Two of them – Beatrice Weiß and Lukasz Wojt – lead the race for some time. The latter almost until the end of the bike leg and finally finished 6th overall. Russian Ivan Tutukin was catching up (fastest marathon of the day, 2:40h) and almost caught winner Michael Weiss. 2013 Ironman world champion Frederik Van Lierde took another title on his favorite Ironman course on the French Riviera yesterday. From the start of the race he had a good feeling, leading the chase pack in the swim that gave him already a first confidence boost. The bike leg announced to be hard since a lot of excellent riders were in the pack. At about 100 km Cameron Wurf (AUS) joined the front group and started his impressive move. “I cannot describe how happy I am with this victory, the 5th here in Nice. No need to mention this is one of the most iconic races in triathlon. Seeing my name 5 times on that victory list is just a dream come true.” Frederik Van Lierde Wurf – a former pro cyclist – showed an incredible performance on the challenging bike course, set a new bike record and entered T2 with a six-minute lead over his closest rivals.
