The riders feedback and observation to their new team kit have been: how phenomenal that kit is: shorts are super comfortable, and the aero race jersey just absolutely disappears. Roger Hammond said it best: “It feels really, really fast. And you especially notice it when you go back to the normal jersey.”

The Queen of the Classics, the ultimate test of the new S.I.T. Progetto X2 seat-pad! The new S.I.T. Progetto X2 seat-pad from Castelli builds on countless thousands of kilometers of riding already. Four Cervélo TestTeam riders have been riding prototypes this spring and their feedback was: Heinrich Haussler: “usually I start feeling discomfort after 2 hours, but with this pad after 7 hours it still feels good.” Inigo Cuesta:“in 16 years as a pro, it’s the best pad I’ve ever used.” Thor Hushovd: “feels great!) When we asked Andreas Klier what we could modify to make it better, he said “Don’t change anything! It’s perfect.” It has been 10 years since we introduced Progetto Y to the world. This eight-generation seat-pad builds on countless millions of kilometers of riding and testing. No compromise in Skin-Care and Cushioning. The S.I.T. The Magnifica Jersey is the lightest jersey we’ve ever created for women – weighing less than half of a traditional jersey thanks to its SG0.6 fabric. We’ve combined an anatomic fit, a skeleton pocket support system and the light SG0.6 fabric to create the perfectly balanced jersey. The SG0.6 fiber absorbs virtually no moisture – sweat dries before it even enters the fabric. This allows the jersey to provide stable temperature control in and out of the shade as well as protection from getting bogged down with sweat. The result is a jersey that weights only 84 grs. — less than half the weight of a traditional cycling jersey when dry. And when the rider perspires (or gets rained on), a soaked Magnifica jersey weighs only 150 grams, compared to 400 grams of a rival top. Want to know more? Go to product page > Men’s version >

Sarah Düster won the Grand Prix de Dottignies, Belgium. The women of Cervélo TestTeam put out a very strong team performance today in the Grand Prix de Dottignies. Early into the race, Claudia Hausler went out on a solo break, only to be caught after 20km out on her own. Many attacks followed throughout the race, until 30km from the finish when Sarah Düster, together with Trixi Worrack (Nürnberger Versicherung) and Chantal Blaak (Leontien.nl), broke away from the pack. “I was taking it easy in the breakaway because I knew that our sprinter Kirsten Wild was behind me. In the last kilometres I felt strong and decided to break away and I won solo.” said Sarah Düster after the race.
