The Ironman European Championship in pictures
Conditions were brutal at the Ironman European Championship in Frankfurt with temperatures close to the 40-degree Celsius mark.
Both Castelli Pro triathletes – Frederik van Lierde and Andreas Raelert – were not completely satisfied with the outcome and missed the podium.
Frederik finished 5th and Andreas came in at 6th position.
