Changing Hands Of National Jerseys.
The National results just kept on coming in Sunday after some hectic days of racing for the national title. Here’s what the Cervélo TestTeam was bringing home:
NORWAY
Cervelo TestTeam’s Thor Hushovd won the national road race title for the second time after an impressive solo ride in Melhus-Trondheimsområde.
This is Hushovd’s first win for the 2010 season. He came 2nd at Paris-Roubaix behind Fabian Cancellara. He broke a collarbone at training in Italy in early May and only returned to racing at the Tour de Suisse, but he’s ready for a third attempt at the green jersey at the Tour de France.
“I’ve had to wait some years before winning this race again, and now I look forward to wearing the national jersey in the Tour de France,” said Hushovd after the race.

LITHUANIA
Ignatas Konovalovas claimed his third Lithuanian national time trial championship title.
‘I still felt a bit tired from the road race,” said Konovalovas. “The course was totally flat and that, in combination with the cross winds throughout the time trial made it really hard. It was pretty difficult to get into a good rhythm, but my shape is ok, and I am happy to wear the jersey another year.”
