2015 Dubai Tour leader’s jersey unveiled

Design by Sir Paul Smith and innovative fabric technology and fit by Castelli headline the 2015 Dubai Tour leader’s jersey. RCS Sport today unveiled the Official Dubai Tour 2015 leader’s jersey, designed by the British fashion designer Paul Smith and produced by the innovative Italian clothing partner Castelli. The four race jerseys, will be worn by the leaders of each race classification. Sir Paul Smith himself, who is arguably the most successful designer in British history, was behind the decision to partner with the Dubai Tour. He has been a cyclist for many years and has a passion for the sport, its heritage and its culture. Cannondale-Garmin team launch to be streamed live

This Wednesday’s official team launch for Cannondale-Garmin Pro Cycling team will be streamed live here below from New York City at 8:35pm local time, 2:35am CET, Jan. 7th. The live online coverage will feature attendee arrivals, introductions, interviews with members of the 2015 Cannondale-Garmin team, and the much-anticipated unveiling of the team’s 2015 Castelli kit. Representing the 2015 team at the launch will be Andrew Talansky, Ben King, Dan Martin, Davide Formolo, Joe Dombrowski and Ted King, along with team CEO Jonathan Vaughters. Long-sleeve Jerseys? Everything you need to know

Autumn is here, but does this mean you immediately switch to wearing winter jackets or continue to wear jerseys?  Obviously this depends on where you live on the globe, but if it’s neither too hot nor too cold, here’s the first article on some autumn cycling clothing tips to help you out, let’s start with long-sleeve jerseys. Now to clear a couple of things up between the Castelli  Trasparente and the Alpha Jersey. At first glance that’s exactly what you should ask. But I’ll first give you my thoughts on the Trasparente Jersey, or is that a jacket. The reason I mention this is that unlike a standard brushed polyester Jersey, or Roubaix if you’re going to use the branded Miti fabric, both the Trasparente punch well above their weight compared to a standard long sleeve autumn Jersey. Trasparente Jersey The Sublime Jersey weighs in at 215g, the Trasparente 334g, and the Alpha 265g. Between a standard Jersey its a whopping 119g per size, or roughly a summer jersey.
