Team Sky and Castelli Reveal 2019 Race Kit

Team Sky and Castelli today unveiled the new kit for the 2019 season and revealed a return to black for the team’s tenth year in the peloton. The kit incorporates a blue to black gradient, with the blue being inspired by the team’s commitment to Sky Ocean Rescue (SOR). The SOR logo is also prominent on the collar of the jersey, as the team continues to raise awareness of Sky’s campaign to help inspire simple, everyday changes to stop our oceans from drowning in plastic. The jersey retains the iconic line on the back, a defining feature that has been ever-present since the team’s inception, while rider names have moved back to the side of the jersey, echoing the team’s previous designs. The wait is over (sort of): Maratona release the 2018 edition race kit!

The time has finally arrived. After three days of jersey design inspiration leaks, Castelli and Maratona dles Dolomite have released the two new designs for male and female cyclists challenging the 32nd edition of the Maratona dles Dolomites on July 1, 2018. The two designs unveiled tonight have been inspired by the landscape and nature of the Badia valley. To gather inspiration for the creative process, we asked six local athletes and mountain-loving friends to bring their favorite colors or objects found in nature in the Badia valley to the design table. Fans and cyclists not participating at the Maratona will have the first opportunity to buy one of the brand-new kits on Castelli-cycling.com starting on Monday, July 2nd. More than 9,000 riders will climb out of the darkness, just before dawn breaks over the surrounding limestone peaks of the Dolomites. The race is a must for every serious cyclist. Cannondale-Garmin lightens up with a special Tour de France jersey

The argyle squad will race in a limited edition team jersey for the 2015 Tour de France, created by its innovative Italian clothing partner, Castelli. The new jersey retains the distinctive Cannondale and Garmin logos, but reverse black with Cannondale’s signature shade of green. The signature Slipstream Sports argyle is prominently displayed in blue on front and back. “We’re really excited about the Tour de France kit,” said Jonathan Vaughters, CEO of Slipstream Sports “The lighter color is perfect for hot weather and our signature argyle is more prominent.” Castelli has multiple times in the history introduced  new clothing for the Tour de France. “We consider the Tour de France a very special event that deserves a special design,” said Steve Smith, Castelli Brand Manager. “This team is rider-centric, and Castelli has done its part to make sure the riders have the most comfortable and technically advanced clothing for this big event. Cannondale-Garmin Pro Cycling team today unveiled its much-anticipated 2015 team kit. The kit was introduced to dealers, fans, celebrities and media at the team launch event in New York City. Featuring a new color scheme of green and black to reflect new partner, Cannondale, the kit retains its signature argyle – a staple of owner, Slipstream Sports. 2015 represents the biggest step forward in Castelli’s pro equipment since we started with Slipstream in 2011,” said Andrea Peron, Castelli’s race performance director. “We’ve concentrated our efforts on improving comfort and aerodynamics with a new short, and making sure the team has a competitive advantage in any adverse weather conditions.
