ROTWILD E1 FS 27.5
Jury Verdict
The ROTWILD E1 excites with its exceptionally engineered and designed frame. The attention
to detail as well as the unique, classy look are typical of a Rotwild. For the suspension, ADP
Engineering (the design office behind the brand) chose a four-bar linkage system with 165mm
rear travel and 170mm at the front. The classic geometry gives the bike an immediate “plug-&-
play” feeling and this is confirmed in the confident and super-predictable handling. A running-
in period isn’t necessary – everything feels familiar. The colour co-ordinated, high-end spec
doesn’t just create a coherent overall look, but also offers reliable function throughout.
TREK Powerfly+ FS9
Jury Verdict
The Trek Powerfly+ FS9 is a real looker! The smooth and clean frame design fits perfectly
with the whole Trek range yet still looks exciting. The conspicuous paint screams for attention
and brings a whole load of sex appeal to the e-mountainbike sector. Thanks to the potent
suspension, balanced spec, and great geometry the Powerfly+ doesn’t just win points in the
beauty contest, but also on the trails. With its 11-speed drivetrain and powerful Bosch motor
even the steepest of climbs can be tackled with ease. At the summit riders can stylishly open
their well-earned drink with the motor-integrated bottle opener. Trek clearly knows not just how
to build bikes, but also what bikers need. Cheers!
HAIBIKE SDURO AllMtn Pro
Jury Verdict
Haibike elevates the concept of system integration to a new level with the SDURO AllMtn Pro.
Along with the drive itself, the suspension is also electronically regulated and automatically
adjusts in fractions of a second to the terrain. The interaction of the powerful Yamaha Motor
with Zero Cadence Support, the enormous torque, and the efficient suspension control result in
masses of power and maximum efficiency. Details like the sideways removal of the battery pack
allow a low top tube and thus lower standover height. The 150mm suspension travel paired with
a balanced, comfort-orientated geometry give the rider plenty of confidence and will above all
win over allround riders looking for an upright riding position.
FLYER Uproc 6
Jury Verdict
The FLYER Uproc 6 sets a new milestone and knows no limits, hitting hard with 160mm of
aggressive suspension travel and an uncompromising spec chosen for downhill-orientated e-
mountainbikers. The powerful brakes, robust wheels, and a harmonious cockpit are just as
convincing as the handling itself, characterised by the differently sized wheels. At the front a
27.5” wheel gives lots of stability, while the 26” rear wheel needs less space and allows for short
chainstays (and thus increased agility). Paired with potent suspension, a powerful motor, and
elegant frame details, the overall package is exceptionally coherent.
CUBE Elite Hybrid HPC SLT 29
Jury Verdict
With its avant-garde looks, the CUBE Elite Hybrid gets you excited before it even moves.
The high-end, exclusive carbon frame is the basis in which the motor is elegantly integrated.
The classy RockShox RS-1 inverted suspension fork fits the design concept perfectly and
impresses on the trail with exceptional performance. In choosing the remaining components,
only the best was good enough and so the overall weight sinks to a phenomenal 16,9 kg. The
result of the consistent lightweight spec is a bike that manages previously unheard-of levels of
agility and light-footedness for this category. This bike is a new benchmark and only has one
speed: full speed ahead!
