DT Swiss XM 1501 SPLINE ONE A brand whose reputation precedes them, DT Swiss have been at the cutting edge of the wheel market for years. In fact, our latest readers’ survey is testament to the Swiss brand’s domination. First launched in spring, the 1501 SPLINE ONE wheels are now appearing on more and more of next season’s bikes. Available in the XR, XM and EX series with widths between 22.5 mm to 40 mm, the DT Swiss wheels start from € 939, therefore don’t come cheap. In terms of weight, they’re able to rival many carbon wheels that are out there, while also delivering an ultra-high performance and longevity. The XM and EX models with 30 mm interior rim widths are the staples amongst DT employees and pro riders, and these are reputed to be the best bedmate for current tires on the market.
