Castelli partners with German Triathlon Union

Castelli is stepping up its triathlon activities and is pleased to announce a new partnership with the German Triathlon Union (DTU) that will see the Italian brand become the exclusive outfitter of the DTU and the German triathlon national teams. This step, which underscores Castelli’s steadily growing triathlon presence, especially in middle- and long-distance racing, will help set a course for the brand’s future direction and support efforts to further develop the range of triathlon-specific products offered. “Castelli has a long history in cycling, and the brand has become well established as a supplier on the triathlon market as well in recent years. After Patrick broke the 8h barrier for the very fist time last year, it was hard to believe that his record will be beaten only 12 months later. Jan did it! Tim O’Donnell convinced – and surprised lots of experts – with one of the most consistent performances that day and was crowned second, just below 8hrs! 12 months after its debut, the PR Speed Suit hit the triathlon world like a bomb and proved to be an essential detail for top performance once again. Laura Philipp and Cameron Wurf – both dressed in their PR Speed Suit – claimed the fastest female and male bike splits of this year’s world championship race.
