Matteo Trentin finished off a well-planned team performance by the Italian squad on a rainy and cool day in Glasgow yesterday. “We rode perfectly as a team and I have to thank everyone who has supported me during my problems and injuries.” Matteo and most of his teammates were dressed in the Sanremo Speed Suit, an aerodynamic skinsuit for road racing. During the beginning of the 230k long race over 16 laps the Italians were covered in Gabba Jerseys, the ideal protection layer for a cool and wet Scottish day.
