Up close at the Absa Cape Epic

The famous and popular annual mountain bike stage race through Western Cape, South Africa is one of the toughest experiences one could face as a cyclist. In addition to the brutal course, athletes have to deal with extreme heat and dust. A true test for body, mind and equipment. Italian “Wilier Force 7C” squad is competing with two teams this year. Tony Longo claims second Alpentour Trophy title

Castelli equipped and last year’s Alpentour Trophy Champion, Tony Longo (Team Wilier-Force Squadra Corse), defended his title and won the 18th Alpentour Trophy on Saturday. Almost 450 mountain bikers from a good 30 nations had taken part in the event in Schladming, Austria.
