Tony Longo claims second Alpentour Trophy title

Castelli equipped and last year’s Alpentour Trophy Champion, Tony Longo (Team Wilier-Force Squadra Corse), defended his title and won the 18th Alpentour Trophy on Saturday. Almost 450 mountain bikers from a good 30 nations had taken part in the event in Schladming, Austria. The final stage of the Tour de Suisse saw a shake up in the General Classification as Tony Martin (Omega Pharma Quickstep) finally lost his grip on the yellow leaders jersey. World Road Race Champion, Rui Costa (Lampre Merida), would walk away as overall victor of the Tour de Suisse for the 3rd year in succession.
