Photo gallery: The Hulk returns on stage 5 of the 2019 Tour de France
Peter Sagan would admit that he hasn’t had the best season of his career. Illness has hampered his progress and he hasn’t been at his world-beating best as often as he normally would. And yet the Slovakian still finds a way to win.
After three top-five finishes in the first four stages — classic Sagan — the three-time world champ was first across the line on stage 5 into Colmar. As he crossed that line he busted out his old Hulk victory salute, one that we first saw at the 2012 Tour de France.
Sagan is back to his winning ways at the Tour and moves ever closer to a record-breaking seventh green jersey. You can see the result of his impressive sprint in the photo gallery below, which features images from Kristof Ramon, The Grubers and Cor Vos.
