Chamois Butt’r has launched Ultra balm, a new anti-chafe balm that’s made for the most demanding conditions and the most extreme athletic endeavors, whether they be measured by distance, time, weather, humidity or whatever a rider, runner or athlete may encounter.

Mathews started working on Ultra in 2016, but was stumped for nearly three years looking for its base component, something that was both not water based, but also non-petroleum based. In 2019, Steve found a new all-natural ingredient that proved the key to developing the final iteration of the new Ultra product. The Chamois Butt’r team notes that Ultra is a balm, and differs by consistency, temperature stability, amount needed and usage instruction from its well known creams.
