The Perfetto was one of two wet weather pieces launched at the Eurobike show along with the Tempesta waterproof rain jacket. First, the Perfetto, which is essentially a Gabba-lite. Whereas the full-blown Gabba, which combines a windproof, water resistant and breathable fabric with a race-ready, aero cut, is designed for cool to cold conditions, the Perfetto is designed for when it’s still damp, but the temperature is a little milder. The Castelli Perfetto is essentially a lightweight version of the Gabba With lower weight comes claims of improved breathability, while the jersey is also more compact and Castelli say it can be stowed in a pocket if, say, you were to wear it over a typical, lightweight short sleeve jersey. Cannondale-Garmin lightens up with a special Tour de France jersey

The argyle squad will race in a limited edition team jersey for the 2015 Tour de France, created by its innovative Italian clothing partner, Castelli. The new jersey retains the distinctive Cannondale and Garmin logos, but reverse black with Cannondale’s signature shade of green. The signature Slipstream Sports argyle is prominently displayed in blue on front and back. “We’re really excited about the Tour de France kit,” said Jonathan Vaughters, CEO of Slipstream Sports “The lighter color is perfect for hot weather and our signature argyle is more prominent.” Castelli has multiple times in the history introduced  new clothing for the Tour de France. “We consider the Tour de France a very special event that deserves a special design,” said Steve Smith, Castelli Brand Manager. “This team is rider-centric, and Castelli has done its part to make sure the riders have the most comfortable and technically advanced clothing for this big event. A new name, new look and new bikes, Cannondale-Garmin

Cannondale-Garmin Pro Cycling team today unveiled its much-anticipated 2015 team kit. The kit was introduced to dealers, fans, celebrities and media at the team launch event in New York City. Featuring a new color scheme of green and black to reflect new partner, Cannondale, the kit retains its signature argyle – a staple of owner, Slipstream Sports. 2015 represents the biggest step forward in Castelli’s pro equipment since we started with Slipstream in 2011,” said Andrea Peron, Castelli’s race performance director. “We’ve concentrated our efforts on improving comfort and aerodynamics with a new short, and making sure the team has a competitive advantage in any adverse weather conditions. This Wednesday’s official team launch for Cannondale-Garmin Pro Cycling team will be streamed live here below from New York City at 8:35pm local time, 2:35am CET, Jan. 7th. The live online coverage will feature attendee arrivals, introductions, interviews with members of the 2015 Cannondale-Garmin team, and the much-anticipated unveiling of the team’s 2015 Castelli kit.
