YT presents limited CAPRA Carbon Free Edition
YT Industries launches a limited edition of the CAPRA 27 AL. The bike offers a „raw“ aluminium-look, combined with great spec and is 100% carbon free. The CAPRA 27 AL is limited to 200 bikes and available in the YT online shop. We have all the information on the bike in the official press release:

You want an aggressive alloy bike with a coil spring? Here you go. The Limited Edition CAPRA® shoots from the hip and isn’t afraid to give in to its liberal side. It doesn’t mind getting naked to really show off its multi-butted, hydro-formed frame curves. With short chainstays and a slack head angle, the modern geometry combines the best of two worlds to deliver a perfect mix of efficiency and stability. Rolling on 27.5“ wheels and equipped with the FOX 36 Factory fork and DHX2 Factory coil shock, this CAPRA pumps out 180mm of travel and delivers the kind of performance you wouldn’t expect to find outside of a DH race track. This is a beast that the Goatman himself would ride: the Limited Edition CAPRA in raw aluminum – 100% carbon free.
Spec of the YT CAPRA 27 AL Ltd
With 180mm of super smooth travel, the FOX 36 Float Factory fork provides unrivalled traction and keeps you on course in the roughest of conditions. The heavy duty FOX DHX2 Factory shock with its lightweight SLS steel spring combines maximum performance with a wide range of adjustment, for that extra rear end sensitivity that gives you the ability to deal with any terrain. Plush and poised, the bike still provides enough feedback to allow you to really know what it is doing. For better efficiency on the way back up the hill, the shock can also be locked out with a simple flick of a switch. With its massive gear range and the robustness to match it, the 1×11 drivetrain is ready to deal with any conditions. E*thirteen’s 9-46 tooth cassette is the first choice when it comes to aggressive trail riding and tough racing. SRAM’s Code RSC brakes with adjustable reach and bite point provide optimal modulation, and with 200mm Centerline rotors both front and back you’ll never find yourself lacking in stopping power. The Kashima-coated FOX Transfer Factory dropper post offers infinite travel adjustment so that you can be sure to always put your saddle exactly where you need it.

YT Tailor Made
Our focus in the development process has always been to create the perfect weight distribution and optimum rider position. So for 2018, YT Tailor Made is taking things a step further. Throughout all CAPRA bikes sizes we offer a low seatpost height in combination with seatposts, that are specifically matched to each of the bike sizes. Therefore riders can now choose between 2 to a maximum of 3 different frame sizes for their body height. Whether you prefer a moderate or long reach – you now have true freedom of choice. It’s like your frame has been tailormade for you. By opting for the longer reach, experienced riders can adjust the weight distribution more precisely while the standard reach will give you a bike with a little more pop out of corners.
YT CAPRA 27 AL Ltd – Availability
The CAPRA 27 AL Limited Edition goes live in the YT web shop on November, 22nd, 2018. 200 unique pieces will be available, 100 bikes in the US and 100 in the EU. Customers from the US can order and buy the bike immediately. European customers can pre-order the bike starting November 22nd, 2018 – it will be available starting November, 28th 2018.
