The O’Neal Appeal: Paying homage to their roots!

image

O’Neal has been around even before the invent of the Mountain Bike. Having been started in the USA back in the 60’s by a keen Motocrosser, it soon started producing MTB gear back in the 80’s when things really were starting up state-side.

Now to pay homage to their MT 80’s routes they are making a retro design red, white and blue Enduro kit which looks real flash and stands out in this modern day bright pastel coloured riding kit, adorned by the freshest of MTB fashion victims.

O’Neal have sent us lots of their kit to feature, and rightly so, as they seem to have most angles covered, with their own version of riding shoes (clipless or flats), armour gear, race gear, trail kit, goggles, helmets, waterproofs, kit bags, the whole shubang!

Also sent to us were these handy knee-pads, why handy, well they thought of something not many others have. How many times have you laced or strapped up your riding shoes or boots and then realised you forgot to put on the knee-pads first, or seen riders going up the hill with their pads around their ankles to ease the climbs. Well not with the AMX Zipper version, as they have a zip to remove or put on, simple but so effective, now why didn’t I think of that?!
