Race Report | Triple Crown #2 – Mountain Creek Enduro
The second stop of the Triple Crown Enduro Series headed to Mountain Creek Bike Park. The Northern New Jersey resort is not known for its high elevation but what it lacks in long runs, it makes up for with incredible trails. Harsh, unforgiving natural terrain and spectacular flowing trails make up one of the country’s best-known lift serviced resorts. In the past, the enduros held here were some of the most technically demanding and this year was no different. The weekend’s weather played a big role in that.
Back Issue | Why So Serious? – The Emerald Enduro
The Emerald Enduro paints a perfect fairy tale in fifty shades of green?
I had never seen anything like it – the race tape was bowing under the pressure of the rowdy fans, and the noise was ridiculous. Sandwich boards and banners were everywhere: “Greg for President,” “Pedal Bro,” and “Go Big Or Go Jer(home)”. One by one riders dropped into the technical rock section at the top of Stage 7 and were confronted with a tunnel of riotous noise, enthusiasm, and goodhumoured abuse. Video | Team SUNN // EWS #8 Finale Ligure
Sunn Team rider’s Thomas Lapeyrie and Kilian Bron, were in Finale Ligure for the last round of the Enduro World Series. They enjoyed the beach but also the beautiful trails, here, in Italy.

After a physical race and some mechanicals, Thomas finished in the top 20 with a 19th position. He is also 17th overall despite missing one round of the EWS, a really good performance! Kilian had fun on...
Racing | EWS #8 Finale Ligure – Rude & Moseley take overalls.
After a long race season packed with drama and action perhaps the popular holiday destination of Finale Ligure on the Italian riviera would offer a relaxing end to the season? Think again… Even before the tires had touched the dirt in Finale we had drama. The weather gods have not been kind on the EWS this year and they enjoyed adding yet another twist to the 2015 series with big storms bringing heavy rain and high winds during practice. Thursday’s practice went ahead with the riders allowed to practice all 6 stages, but with the forecast set to deteriorate further on Friday the organizers were forced to cancel the day’s practice before reviewing the situation on Friday evening.
