Behind the Scenes | Inside the Design & Innovation Award 2015

Last year in early November, the editorial team of ENDURO met with a selected jury of industry experts in South Tyrol, to test and award the best products on the market. The winners will be announced in the next issue of ENDURO (coming in a few days!), but as a small teaser we’d like to give you a behind the scenes look in this extensive production.

The ENDURO editors were in Latsch a few days before the other jury members to weigh, photograph and test more than 100 products.

In einem extra großen Mercedes Sprinter haben wir uns auf den Weg nach Südtirol gemacht. Dort stand nach dem Einlade-Tetris zu Hause das Ausladen auf dem Programm
A large Sprinter full of bikes and parts brought us to South Tyrol. Fitting everything in was Tetris as its best!
Dort folgte dann ein großes Laufradpuzzle. Welches Vorderrad gehört jetzt nochmal in welches Bike?
First world problems: Which wheel belongs to which bike?
Alle Produkte wurden im Anschluss unter Augenschein genommen, gewogen und die Daten erfasst.
All products were analysed and weighed.
Im wurden alle Bikes & Parts von Fabian Rapp ins rechte Licht gerückt.

Die gesamte Woche über herrschte wechselhaftes Wetter im sonst sonnenverwöhnten Ort Latsch.
The weather was rather unsettled in usually sun-spoiled town of Latsch
Bei einigen Testrunden war so auch eine große Schlammpackung garantiert
But still we had lots of fun testing the exciting products
