First Look: Custom Geometry Zumbi F-11 650B
I have been running this unique bike for some time now, and think that it was time I did a quick bike check. Polish bike brand, Zumbi, are becoming increasingly popular all over Europe, and the distinctive F-11 silhouette is being seen at more and more races. What makes this bike special, is that if you wish, you can tailor the bike to your requirements, and not only with the components, but also...
Specialized Body Geometry FIT – What’s behind the concept?
One thing is certain: Every person is unique! So it is only logical that everyone has very individual needs when it comes to position on the bike. Specialized has developed, in a long collaboration with Dr. Pruitt from the ‘Boulder Center for Sports Medicine’, the Body Geometry FIT Technology. It is a comprehensive method of bike adjustment which takes into account the rider’s personal needs, so the bike adapts to the rider and not the rider to the bike. We took a look closely to the Specialized Body Geometry FIT concept and did a personal fitting.
Team Tested: Ergon GE1 Grips & SME3 Comp Saddle Review
Ergon are a German based company, lending their name from the term ergonomic, meaning to work naturally around the human body. They have taken that theory and put it into practice with their comfortable products. I had recently been suffering a tad from hand-pump during racing, that classic pain in your hand muscles, which can be caused by any number of things. It could be that the forks are set up wrong, bars or levers are in the wrong position, gripping too tight, not relaxing, not breathing correctly or just plain incorrect grips. Well, these Ergon GE1 grips are supposed to be designed to decrease the amount of hand pump, due to the way they are shaped better for the gripping hand. They feel a lot more fitted and with their shape it seems impossible to let the hand turn around on the grip.
Long Term Test: Cube Fritzz 160 HPA Pro 27,5″ Review
Cube offers with the Fritzz 160 HPA Pro 27.5 a super interesting bike for a price of 1.999€. ENDURO long-term tester Flo has now completed several hundred kilometers on the Fritzz. We were very interested if the favorable Cube can convince us with good handling and whether the bike offers good durability.
