One of the jersey’s advantageous properties is that it hardly absorb water. After all, what good would a lightweight jersey be if it soaked up water like a standard cycling jersey. So it’s light whether wet or dry, and the fabric is knit as a mesh. This all but guarantees its coolness when you’re moving and can get some wind blowing over your body. A full length front zipper complements the jersey for maximum temperature regulation in hot weather.
INFERNO BIBSHORT – so light and cool that it’s scary. This past week was the racing debut of the new Inferno Bibshort, our coolest and lightest short we’ve ever made. Inferno is Italian for hell, and this short is made for those hellishly hot days. It features 7 different fabrics, each strategically located to give maximum cooling with adequate coverage, whether that be non-transparent fabrics in front and back, abrasion resistant fabric in contact with the seat, or minimal meshes through the bib straps, side panels, and lower legs.

All fabrics contain titanium dioxide, the active ingredient in sunscreen, which reflects the sun’s UV rays. But as some of these fabrics are fairly open meshes, we recommend sunscreen on the side and front of legs.

highly sensitive ischial and perineal pressure areas.
The Progetto X2 Air seatpad is different from most multi-density crotch savers. Instead of a bunch of raised ridges settling against your skin, the skin-side surface of the seatpad is one smooth perforated foam layer to help ventilate and keep the nether regions cooler by allowing air to flow directly onto the surface fabric.
