It’s been a busy time since the last EWS in Whistler. I’ve been back trackside working for Trek World racing’s DH program in Méribel France at the WC finals and at the World championships in Hafjell Norway. It was a great finish for our guys with a medal and two top 5 places and I was proud to be there helping them achieve their goals.

Sun, sea, Italian food and some of the best trails in the world, it’s hard to think of a better place to round out the 2014 Enduro World Series than Finale Ligure. Hype before the weekend centred on some big names from across mountain biking turning their skills to enduro, as well as the long-anticipated return of a few familiar faces to the mix.

Even though Anne Caro could not have really taken the overall this weekend, she certainly put her stamp on the final round of the series, winning every stage! This was a fairy-tale ending for Ibis, as Anne Caro was racing on their new 27.5 prototype. Calling this bike a prototype is a little misleading as the bike looks ready to roll off the production line, but as yet it is un-named and there...

Another bike season has come and gone for most people. But for those looking for one more trip, or to get a jump on next year’s gear selection process, Outerbike in Moab, Utah is a great way to get away to the desert with a few of your friends and really blow it out.

For issue #013 of the ENDURO Mountain Bike Magazine we traveled to the beautiful Ötztal region of Austria to test seven of the most interesting bikes for the 2015 season. In the days leading up to the trip, the mood in the office was just like that of a kid on Christmas Eve.
