ENDURO Mountainbike Magazine RSS

The Design & Innovation Award is the global seal and benchmark of the world’s best bike products. ENDURO Mountainbike Magazine and E-MOUNTAINBIKE Magazine award in collaboration with a select, international jury the best and most innovative products every year.

The inaugural Arkansas Enduro, (Arkadelphia, Arkansas USA) was held in September and drew racers from 7 states. The key element in Arkansas Enduro Series founder/director Kent Wood’s mind was using a flawless timing system, so he chose Germany’s Sportident Air+ system. Sportident volunteered to send one of their own timing reps (Sebastian Gassdorf) across the Atlantic just for this event to ensure it went as planned.

This week end was the final round of the EWS 2014 season and what a final. Once again a super physical round, no lift, just pedaling. Almost 90km of riding, 2 days and 6 stages. The weather has been amazing on all 4 days (2 days of practice et 2 days of racing) and the stages were absolutely amazing, fun loamy/flowly trails to super rough and rocky downhill tracks, it’s been a mix of everything.
