THE MOST AERODYNAMIC STYLE TO DRESS FOR AN IRONMAN Castelli has always been on the forefront when it comes to providing the most aerodynamic and comfortable clothing for athletes and introduced its first version of a short sleeved triathlon suit almost five years ago. The 2017 suit uses the famous Castelli Sanremo construction. That means, that the front is an overlap design with a full length YKK® Camlock® zipper. This has proved to be useful for quick and easy nature breaks during a race. The upper part consists of a more ventilated and elastic, fabric for increased freedom of movement for running. Regarding storage, two back pockets offer plenty of space for nutrition and two small pockets on the hip were added to stow gels or salt tablets for running. The concept is rounded off with the triathlon specific KISS Tri seat pad for highest comfort on the bike and is almost not noticeable for running. Discover all details and colour options

Theo Bos dominated the International Sprint & Keirin races in Alkmaar reaping the aero benefits of the Castelli Body Paint 3.3 Speed Suit. Theo Bos, four-time world champion and Olympic silver medalist, showed that he has not forgotten how to sprint. He dominated the International Sprint & Keirin races in Alkmaar, winning the keirin, sprint and team sprint. Nevertheless, the competition was tough, featuring the top Dutch track cyclists and international riders such as the British Olympic champion Callum Skinner. This season Bos is a member of BEAT Cycling Club. Anyone can join this club, and part of the dues will go to support the club’s professional team. In Alkmaar, Bos wore the Body Paint 3.3 Speed Suit, which was made specifically on his request, as he is aware of the “unfair advantage” of this fast suit. Also available in Castelli’s Servizio Corse custom team program. He was very satisfied with the first victory for his new team and still has a lot of ambition. “It gives me confidence that I immediately won a race at the beginning of the season,” he said. “It’s also great that this is the first professional win for BEAT Cycling Club. I am very proud of it. It ...
