The 2016 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Expert Carbon is the latest adaptation of one of the most legendary mountain bikes of all time. Our new recruit to the ENDURO Trail Team, Piers Spencer-Phillips from DERESTRICTED, went along and picked the bike up at Leogang for the first day of riding and immediately put it through 3,459m of descent on it’s first outing, smashing all of his previous personal records around the mountain on Strava with it. A good start!

Featuring in our group test from Issue #015, we pinned the Trek Fuel EX against some of the top cross-country competitors in its range. Battering bikes around the technical trails of California for three days straight, then depicting what we loved and hated, what we’d change and what we couldn’t do without… It was an awesome time and pushing XC to enduro was a real treat!
