Working 9 to 5 – Daydreamers and Nightriders
Tick follows tock, the minute hand creeps slowly round the dial… 5:30 pm is almost here. Important notes on the computer screen have long since blurred into one, and concentration has shifted to plotting the fastest way home: how will I avoid the traffic, and what will I need? Bike, helmet, gloves, winter shoes, lights – don’t forget lights! Who said it’s only the weekend when we can have fun? We are the 9 to 5 daydreamers, and it’s time to shred with some friends!
A Wild West adventure with Liv Bikes to Sedona’s desert paradise
We’re surrounded on all sides: cactus of every shape and size aim their spears at our fragile skin. They stand tall like guardians of nature in this harsh terrain, showing this is a place for the hardy and well-defended. I like nature… I just don’t like it touching, biting, stinging or stabbing me. Call me crazy if you like, but that is not a close encounter I want!
Trek Stache 9.8 Review – An Unusual 29 Plus Hardtail on Test
Forget the clichés and preconceived ideas about wheel sizes, because that mentality would lead you to presume that a 29+ like the Trek Stache 9.8 must be completely unrideable, nothing but a wallowing fat bike. But jump on this Trek with an open mind and you’ll be blown away by the broadened horizons that it presents.
The Lab #026: Parts and equipment long term reviews
Our global test team has been pushing products to the very limit on the world’s toughest trails. In The Lab, durability is rewarded and weaknesses have nowhere to hide. This time, we tested the Sweat Protection Bearsuit Light knee pads, the Cane Creek Double Coil CS rear shock, the Vaude Moab Low AM flat pedal shoes, the Alpinestars Pathfinder shorts, and the Lupine Wilma R 7 helmet-light.
Fuji Auric 27.5 1.5 Review – Between the Worlds
Every time we start a bike test we ask, “Who has this bike been designed for?” Usually we get a fairly good understanding just by glancing at the bike, its spec, and the geometry figures – but that didn’t work with the Fuji Auric. We scratched our heads a bit, then cracked on with the bike test.
