Having presented new models in the 130-150mm suspension range last year, it was high time for GT to give its short-travel models a makeover. The result is the completely new GT Helion, which replaces the well-known Zaskar models.

However, it’s easy to forget that the criticism is often just nit-picking. If you can afford to buy a current bike, you have both money, time and a passion for technical knowledge — not really attributes that should awaken our deepest pity, if we’re being honest.
