Pro Bike Check: Stephan Koch’s ROTWILD R.E1 FS 27.5

A while back we presented Specialized’s marketing manager Sebastian’s bike [read it here] and this time we’ve drafted in Stephan Koch, one of ROTWILD’s sales reps to take a closer look at his whip.
Pro Bike Check: Mary Moncorgé biking in France
Our mouths nearly started watering when Mary sent us the pictures of her new Ibis Ripley which she is using as a training bike in for the mild winter months in her southern French home. Pro Bike Check: Remy Absalon’s Scott Genius LT 700 Tuned
Remy Absalon is no stranger to Enduro after 10 seasons of racing. This will be his second season with Scott and SR Suntour. Since last year there are some important changes and developments on his Genius LT 700 Tuned, which debuted 2 years ago. Considered one of the first of a new generation of long-travel enduro bikes, it has outstanding climbing ability and low weight for a bike with 170mm of travel. Remy has some key changes put on his including a new prototype shock and electric shifting.

Industry Bike Check: Sebastian Maag’s Specialized Stumpjumper
During a visit to Specialized’s German Headquarters in Holzkirchen, Marketing Manager Sebastian Maag showed us a very special bike: a Specialized Stumpjumper hardtail on steroids. More precisely one built up for maximum downhill fun. On first inspection the bike looks a bit strange, but if you believe the words of its owner the concept really works and regularly puts a big grin on his face.
