What’s in the Camera Bag of our Photographer Ross Bell?
If you’ve been to any big race you’re sure to have seen them, racing around, exhausted and never stopping for a break, no not the racers, we are talking about the photographers! In the hunt for that elusive shot, or to capture the feel of an event nobody works harder than the media teams. If you have ever wondered what they are carrying, the ENDURO team of photographers and Videographers will be sharing what’s in their bag, and some useful advice for those who want to get more into MTB media.
DI.A 2016 Expert Discussion: Redefine E-MTB Performance
E-Mountain bikes redefine the constraints of time, they push the boundaries, our own personal limits and give us a completely new feel for riding – or, at least, that’s what the theory says. But both the results of our tests and the sad reality tell a different story: tiny, overlooked details and inadequate specs mean that their lifespan, stability and smoothness are all negatively impacted, leading to – let’s face it – a less fun ride. Time for a rethink!
DI.A 2016 Expert Discussion: Is there a Perfect Bike Geometry?
Over the past few years we’ve sat back and watched enduro bikes get longer and slacker geometry by the day. Now you could even argue they’re more akin to a downhill machine. But dubbed as ‘modern’ geometry and with manufacturers jumping onto the trend: is long and slack really the best geometry for the Average Joe and where’s this trend heading?
An Interview with Jérôme Clementz
Jérôme Clementz is a man who needs little introduction, his distinctive flowing style and crushing speed make him instantly recognisable to those watching behind the tape. Always a threat to the top step of the podium the Cannondale Factory Racing rider has suffered a couple of tough seasons punctuated by injury and illness, but he has never lost the drive and passion that took him to victory in the 2013 Enduro World Series. With more riders coming through the ranks we caught up with Jérôme to find out what his plans are for 2016 and how he keeps motivated at the highest level of the sport.
DI.A 2016 Expert Discussion: Crossing the Divide
A look at the concepts that are bridging the gaps between MTB and Road
With each new model year the gulf that separates mountain bikes and road bikes is growing smaller. With seemingly endless categories between the two, the gap is being bridged by exciting and revolutionary bikes. The new ways of thinking such as Gravel, Endurance and Cross Adventure all have a touch of the road and a sprinkling of the mountain in differing quantities, honing them to be the best in their niche. The Gold Award winning Open U.P. blends qualities of both worlds to create something amazing, more than the sum of its parts, a revelation that opens new doors. We are also starting to see the two worlds take cues from each other more and more, ideas and concepts shared between the polar disciplines via all the intermediaries.
