The Mortirolo Pass (1852 m.), also known as Passo di Foppa connects Mazzo di Valtellina and Val Camonica. The road from Mazzo di Valtellina is one of the most demanding climbs in professional road cycling – appearing 10 times in the Giro since 1990 – always from this side starting in Mazzo.
