RHC Milano No. 5 – Fixie Speed Specialists

The fifth edition of the Red Hook Criterium Milan ticks all the boxes for a great cycling party central, its fun, sociable, enjoyable, sociable, fast and exhilarating as 100 fixed gear bicycles tackled the 1.2 kilometers race course over multiple laps of a fast twisty route within the desolate streets in the Bovisa area of Milan.

The field consists of elite-level road, track, cyclocross, and mountain bike racers, bike messengers and urban cyclists. The RHC has developed a unique style of cycling event that combines the underground art of street racing with the intensity of high-level competition in a spectator-friendly atmosphere.

The Romanian street-speed specialist and last years winner, Edward Grosu, took his third RHC victory, while the podium was completed by Italian Ivan Ravaioli  in second and Julio Padilla of Guatemala in third place.
