Tubolito Announced PSENS, the World’s First Smart Inner Tube
In April 2021, Austrian inner tube maker, Tubolite launched the world’s first smart inner tube, the Tubolito PSENS. It uses an NFC chip encased in foam inside the tube, around the valve stem. Pirelli Launched Lightweight, $37 SmarTUBE
Italian tire maker Pirelli recently launched their lightest ever inner tube, the SmarTUBE. Weighing at only 35g for a 23mm version, Pirelli claims that the SmarTUBE saves up to 70% of weight compared to a standard latex tube.
