A few days after the announcement of the new format for DH and the inclusion of XC marathon, enduro and e-enduro disciplines in the UCI MTB World Cup series, today  the UCI has revealed the dates of the race schedule, which includes 13 events and races in 9 different nations for 6 disciplines. Cross country marathon, enduro and e-enduro disciplines are being added to the racing calendar of the new UCI MTB World Cup organization managed by Warner Bros. Discovery in partnership with ESO Sports. All enduro events will last for one day and provide for a system of assigning points in each stage, which will determine the starting order of the last stage. The same concept also applies to the pedal assisted enduro category. There is also news for the race format of the UCI DH World Cup events, with the inclusion in the program of a semifinal that will be broadcast

The Enduro Nations Trophy ran today in Finale Ligure. Each country featured a team of 3 elite male athletes and up to the same amount of female athletes. Something went wrong for the Italian men, given that they were disqualified (there is a still mystery as to why), the women finished in fourth position, behind France, Germany and Great Britain. Magically an Italian U21 women’s team appeared, unannounced when the teams were announced , and arrived on the podium (bronze).
