[ad3]
The Slovakian Olympic committee communicated today that road world champion Peter Sagan gives up his place in the road race at the Olympic Games in exchange for selection to the mountain bike events at the Rio Games.
Sagan has taken part to some mountain bike races during this spring, and has just finished a MTB training camp. The former XC junior world champion will resume the offroad training right after the Tour de France.
Thank you #specialized for allowing me and my team to ride mountain bikes at #trainingcamp. We are all in one piece pic.twitter.com/LtLmzXj4Sy
