Jack Moir Wins EWS Round Two in Val di Fassa

In today’s race, after 4 stages spanning 41km and with 3.148m in altitude, the fastest was the Australian Jack Moir (Canyon Collective) with a time of 28: 22.20, followed by the American Richie Rude (Yeti / Fox Factory Team ) in second ~15 seconds behind. Third closed out with Australian Charles Murray (Specialized Racing) fairly close to his compatriot in the lead, 38 seconds behind.

In the women’s category, French racer Melanie Pugin wins with a time of 33:30.62, followed by compatriot Morganne Charre (Pivot Factory Racing) in second at 35 seconds back. Third was Brit Harriet Harnden (Trek Factory Racing) 46 seconds behind the leader of the day.

The World Series Circus now always moves to Italy but on the other side of the Alps in the Aosta Valley for the third and fourth round of the season.
