Wounded Warrior Project: Soldier’s Ride
The bicycle is a simple, yet wonderful device. It can bring a smile to a child’s face on Christmas Day. It can be a cure for our daily stresses. It can even make us stronger and healthier.
No where is this phenomenon more apparent than the purpose the bicycle serves in the Wounded Warrior Project’s Soldier’s Ride. The Wounded Warrior Project is a charity and veterans service organization that offers a variety of services, programs and events for wounded veterans of the U.S. military. In honor of Veteran’s Day 2015, we are featuring this awesome video showing just how important and powerful the bicycle (in its many forms) really is.

Beyond being just a charity, the Wounded Warrior Project is an organization that empowers and honors injured service members. The Soldier’s Ride is an activity that allows soldiers to cycle together (often with adaptive bicycles) for 25 or 50 miles over a four-day bonding period with their community and fellow soldiers. This year, the ride was in Concord, Massachusetts.
Mtbr would like to thank the many men and women of the U.S. armed forces for their service to our great country. We would also like to thank the many volunteers and supporters who help these warriors after they return home.
