Video: Pivot Phoenix bar, stem, grips
Pivot showed off their new cockpit components designed with a purpose starting with a 35mm handlebar. The bar itself is not stiffer by design but it is lighter than the previous generation. They were able to provide more sizes, with an 800mm bar as the longest size.

The bigger diameter enabled them to make a stiffer stem in 35, 45, 55 and 65mm lengths in Enduro model. An longer XC stem is available too.
They’ve gone with the WTB Padlock system where the bar is cut to mate securely with the grip without relying on a lock-on cinch bolt to prevent twisting. Pivot put their own touch on the system by designing grips with a soft outer interface at the cut edge to provide comfort in this crucial contact point.
