When bike manufacturers spec the suspension tunes, they try to deliver a product that will work well for a wide range of riders. If you fall outside that average range, your suspension may feel too soft or too harsh.

The solution is air spring volume spacers. Adding spacers can make the suspension feel more progressive through its travel while removing them allows lighter riders to get more use out of the suspension.
