Santa Cruz Bronson, 5010 and Tallboy 3 alloy bike weights
The size large alloy Bronson with the R1x build weighed 31 lbs 1 oz/14.05 kg. That’s lighter than the 31.4 lbs /14.25 kg claimed on their website.

The alloy Bronson is available with two different build kits. This is the more affordable of the two. For an additional $900, you get a Pike RC fork, GX1 drivetrain, and Guide R Brakes.
Retail for this bike is $2,999. It comes equipped with FOX’s new Rhythm series fork, a 1x SRAM NX drivetrain, and SRAM Level T brakes.
The size large 5010 with an R2x build weighed 31 lb 12 oz (14.41 kg). Unlike the Bronson, the unit we weighed straight off the showroom floor was slightly heavier than the 31.36lb/14.23 kg claimed on their site. To be fair, I’m not sure what size bike they were weighing AND the demo bike we used was setup with tubes.

The R1X version of the 5010 retails for the same price as the model we weighed, but ships with a 1x SRAM drivetrain – which should help shave some weight.
Retail for this bike is also $2,999. It comes with a Shimano SLX crankset, 2x drivetrain, and SRAM brakes. The bike is also available for the same price with the RX1 kit featured on the Bronson.
The size large Tallboy 3 with the D kit and plus tires weighed 31 lb 13 oz (14.43 kg).
Retail for this bike is $2,5999, which makes it the most affordable full suspension Santa Cruz currently offers. It ships with a RockShox Recon Silver RL fork, a SRAM NX 1 drivetrain, and Level Brakes.
