Red Bull Rampage 2015: Epic Finals Photo Gallery
Bigger and badder than ever before, the Red Bull Rampage finals once again brought more progression to the freeriding landscape and to the one-of-a-kind terrain of southern Utah. After missing the last two Rampage events due to injury, Kurt Sorge returned to earn 2015’s top prize. Sorge became just the second rider (after Kyle Strait, who won in 2004 and 2013) to win Red Bull Rampage twice. Andreu Lacondeguy end up in second, with Graham Agassiz third. Best trick award went to Sam Reynolds, while Brandon Semenuk won the People’s Choice Award.
Overall the level of riding was raised to an unbelievable standard. And fortunately for all involved, the weather held out just long enough for everyone to get their second run, except for Lacondeguy and Agassiz and Lacondeguy who got skunked by high winds. After dropping a first run that included speed, amplitude and big stylish tricks in exposed terrain, 2012 Rampage champ Sorge took the hot seat with the highest score of the day and went on to secure his second Rampage victory.
