Norco launched two (really three) new models here at Interbike. The first is the carbon fiber Revolver, which will be available in both 650B and 29er versions. There completes are only available as a 1x, but the frame only options will ship with a FD mount. Both wheel sizes will share similar component specs and pricing, as well as their gizmo cable routing, which appears to keep things need and quite.
The brand has also expanded their line of budget Fluid full suspension bikes to accommodate riders of all heights and ages.
Also on display was the new Torrent, which is an aluminum 650 plus hardtail. Spec’d with boost components, a 130mm fork, and a 1x drivetrain, the new bike is targeted towards trail riders.
The Norco Tactic is the stiffest and lightest road race model in the 2016 line up. It is built from high modulus carbon and weighs ~910g in a disc specific version. There is also a non disc specific version available. Complete builds with a Shimano 105 groupset start at $2,000 and top out around $7,000 for a full Durace kit.
On the endurance side of things, Norco has the Valance. Available in both carbon and aluminum, the frames are available with disc brakes at every price point except for the two most affordable options. All models, regardless or price point, share the Power Chassis Technology and ARC Endurance System, for a rigid pedaling platform with all day comfort.
For riders seeking a more adventure touring platform, the Search is now available in both carbon and aluminum. With front and rear thru axles, disc brakes, and great tire clearance (upto 40c), this bike is extremely versatile. Prices for the aluminum model start at only $1,150.
The Threshold is Norco’s take on a performance cyclocross race bike. It has a size scaled carbon tubeset for better compliance and claimed frame weight is ~1000g. Like the majority of Norco’s product line, it uses the Gizmo Universal Cable Routing System to keep water and debris out and eliminate cable rattle.
