This year is Lezyne’s 10th anniversary. To celebrate, they’ve been revamping each of their product categories. The big story on the GPS front is improved functionality and a new look.
The Super GPS is Lezyne’s halo model. It can connect to both Ant+ and Bluetooth for data collection such as a heart rate and power. The device can also sync with a smartphone to display notifications and turn-by-turn navigation. Claimed run time is 24 hours. Cost for the unit is $149, but a kit that includes a heart rate monitor ($190) or a heart rate monitor and speed/cadence sensor ($230) are also available.
The Macro is the same size as the Super but retails for $50 less. It shares the same ability to connect with Bluetooth devices but loses the Ant+ feature. Run time drops to 22 hours.
Want something smaller? Lezyne offers the Micro and Mini GPS lines. Like the Super and Macro, the Micro gets Ant+ and Bluetooth features, while the Mini nixes Ant+ and has shorter battery life.
The Micro is available with a black and white screen for $129. The color version costs an additional $30. Both weigh 29 grams and have a claimed 14-hour run time.
If you don’t need the ANT+ feature, the Mini retails for $100. Battery life is down to 10 hours, but you can still sync with Bluetooth devices.
These two lines are roughly the same size as an Apple Watch, so naturally, Lezyne has also created a line of watches. These devices share the same functionality as the cycling computers, but have a built-in accelerometer to count steps, as well as enhanced GPS tracking, and improved battery life.
The new watch is claimed to have a run time of 100+ hours on a full charge and up to 14 when using GPS. Retail for the monochromatic version is $140. The technicolor treatment will set you back $170.
